Both Safeway and Foodland still guarantee the lowest price.
Foodland/Sack 'N Save: Under 17 lbs - $3.97; over 17 lbs - $5.97
Safeway: Under 16 lbs - $3.97; over 16 lbs - $5.97
So, theoretically, you could ask Safeway to give you a 17 pound turkey for $3.97 to honor their guarantee. If you can find one that's exactly 17 pounds, that will make a difference of about a penny and a half a pound. I think we all have better things to worry about. MY biggest concern is finding room in the freezer for all the dang turkeys I keep bringing home!
