This weeks extra-specials at Western Washington grocery stores:

Lamb Shoulder Chops - $3.99/lb - Albertson's (I use an osso bucco recipe on these for a special treat.)
Dover Sole Fillets (frozen) $3.99/lb - Fred's
Ground Turkey, 20 oz - $1.99 ($1.59/lb) - Safeway (Sat/Sun only, Limit 4)
Mac or Potato Salad - 3 lbs for $2.99 - Fred's
Avocado - $.68/ea - Safeway (Sat/Sun only)
Pot Pies, Banquet - $.59 - Albertson's (Bachelor's special, but admit it, on a cold miserable day, these are pretty good. Make some biscuits to go with 'em, or a nice loaf of bread.)
Tomatillos - $.99/lb - Albertson's (Very nice paired with asparagus, of all things.)
Cheese, Kroger, 2 lbs - $3.99 - Fred's (Coupon)
Broccoli - $.78/lb - Safeway
Chickens, Whole - $.79/lb - Safeway (Still the favorite Sunday dinner at my house.)

It does seem that everybody is into this kind of stuff lately. Don’t really understand it though, but thanks for trying to explain it. Appreciate you shedding light into this matter. Keep it up
